Why We Exist
In 2015, when my longtime nanny decided to go back to school, I panicked. “How could I possibly maintain my full-time job and manage the busy schedules of my two active children as a single mom?”
I questioned how I could successfully manage our busy lives. After soaking up the news, I realized that I did not need another full-time nanny—I needed a driver. I set out on a mission to create a community of drivers, not just for myself, but for other busy families like yours.
The criteria that I created for my own family is the rigorous set of standards that RUBI uses today to select your family’s driver. The driver must maintain a clean driving record, undergo a thorough background check, have an appropriate social media presence, and complete a state vehicle inspection. The driver must exude professionalism and be an efficient communicator, and most importantly keep our kids safe.
Going through this process personally taught me the formula for successfully providing a safe, friendly, reliable, and trusted service. It’s because of my struggle that I understand what other families need, and I am personally invested in helping as many families as possible manage their complicated, demanding schedules.
